An avid performer since the age of 7, she uses her diverse training and background as a way to help others heal through movement based therapy. She also uses musicality as a jazz vocalist and percussionist to utilize musicianship with movement.

Her formal training includes San Jose State in dance education and musical theatre and Roehampton University in ethnomusicology and dance therapy. She spent several years abroad studying Martha Graham technique, occupational therapy, somatic therapy, ethnomusicology, dance education, and classical/contemporary theater. Since graduating with a BA in Musical Theater and Dance, she has taught workshops and classes all over the U.S. She also has spent 8 years working with non-profit organizations teaching students with disabilities the art of dance therapy.

In her many years of teaching dance therapy to vulnerable communities, she aims to create a safe space for all to express themselves using musicality and healing based movement. Likewise, through her journey in movement based therapy, she aims to showcase self compassion/ self love to all ages. She uses her classical dance + movement based therapy training to offer a safe and fun space for all dancers.
